Research:
Non-covalent interactions, mass spectrometry, organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis.
Zhang’s research program focuses on the qualitative and quantitative studies of non-covalent interaction complexes by means of tandem mass spectrometric techniques. Assignment and quantification of intrinsic non-covalent interactions in host-guest supramolecular systems constitute a basis in understanding of higher-level biological complex systems and in design of novel materials and organometallic catalysts.
